Devoted to the family history of Daniel York of Albany, New York and his son Marinus Gilbert York (1811-1885) of the village of Flinton, Kaladar township, Lennox and Addington County, Ontario, Canada. Frederick Alexander York and Mabel Jane Wagar of Flinton, ca. 1910 This photograph shows the family of Frederick Alexander York (1876-1922), a blacksmith in the village of Flinton, and his wife Mabel Jane Wagar (1879-1962). Seated from left to right are Mabel Jane Wagar, son Arnold York (1902-1988), mother Margaret Cummings (1840-1927), son Alexander York (1906-1969), niece Helen Van Allan (1899-?), daughter Maggie York (1900-1975), neighbour Tilly Bradshaw with baby Floyd, and school teacher Mrs. Crutchley. The photo was taken on the front porch of the family home in Flinton. The home is still standing, as is his blacksmith's shop, which was later Davidson's garage.
